Learning in community is a key Dominican value and one that educational psychology research has shown to be highly effective.
You may not copy an abstract and hand it in as an annotation. It includes a description of the article or book, but also has an evaluation of the reliability and usefulness of a source.
It may also include your reaction to the information you have found.
So contemporaneous discussion in seminar is a key part of our course.
Reasoning contains no logical fallacies; sound analytic reasoning (open mindedness, healthy skepticism, intellectual humility, free thinking, high motivation, without Haskin's "hindrances"); is grounded in sound deductive reasoning based on text principles; and Stage Three & Four arguments are common.
