These courses are not suitable if you need a first aid certificate but will give you skills to help in a first aid emergency.The Pro Trainings Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 (VTQ) qualification (EFAW) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that there is no requirement for a fully trained first aider for their workplace.All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2017 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 changes.As an organisation you need to comply with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, which govern the provision of first aid by a business to their staff.The regulations apply to all workplaces, regardless of size. We work with organisations that support older people, homeless people and those living with drug and alcohol addiction.Learners are required to attend a requalification course after the 3 year period to keep the qualification valid.It is strongly recommended that learners update their skills by attending a 3 hour annual refresher course.We offer: Get your team trained for first aid at work on a Red Cross course.Our interactive courses provide the practical skills and confidence to help save lives.Please be advised that the classroom course has a minimum age requirement of 14.The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a Pro Trainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
