Kindergarten Farm Writing Paper

All of these resources can be found in the Farm Fun unit in my store.

Do your preschoolers love farm animals as much as ours?

There are so many fun learning activities that are associated with the farm.

While planning our curriculum, I came across over 50 activities, books and songs that are perfect for the farm theme. The best preschool farm theme activities that I rounded up for this fun collection. Six Little Chicks by Jez Alborough The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carl Click, Clack, Moo Cows that Type by Doreen Cronin Where is the Green Sheep? by Judy West Skip to My Lou by Mary Ann Hoberman I Went Walking by Sue Williams Blue Goose by Nancy Tafuri Horseplay!

Students become farm animal experts through close reading passages, discussions, and investigations.

Farm animal informational texts teach students about different farm animals. Students can also complete their own individual chit chat message.

Mixed Up Scarecrow Art from Fun-A-Day – Let the kids go wild creating their own “mixed-up scarecrow” with various art materials! from Storytiming – Set up a pretend play chicken coop, then let the children gather the eggs!

TP Roll Sheep from Red Ted Art – I don’t believe I have ever seen a cuter sheep craft. Tractor Track Prints from Craftulate – Such a clever way to paint “tractor” prints with kids!Cardboard Scarecrow Craft from Toddler Approved – The kids can design and make a scarecrow for their farm!Milking a Cow from The Inspired Treehouse – What child wouldn’t want to “milk a cow” when exploring a farm theme!?Sheep Counting Math Game from Mamas Like Me – Kids love a good dice game, and this one sure fits the bill!Pig Pancakes from Mom to 2 Posh L’il Divas – Have a farm-themed breakfast with pig pancakes.I like displaying the books on the smartboard and having students interact as much as possible.
