Ubc Masters Thesis
If you have questions, please contact the c IRcle staff.CREATIVE ARTS ONLY: For MFA and MMus theses, convert the text portion(s) of your thesis to a single non-secured PDF.
Your submission is not complete and you will not meet deadlines until your thesis has been approved, and you have received an official email receipt. It might not be the same as the month in which you will be attending Congregation (convocation ceremonies), as Congregation is only held in May and November. Submit to the collection "Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) 2008 ".IMPORTANT: Ensure that there are no spaces in your file name; use underscores instead. Do NOT submit to the "Graduate Research [non-thesis]" collection.Ensure that multimedia files are in formats that are accepted by the UBC Library. This ETD Tutorial provides information about PDFs including conversion from Microsoft Word to PDF.For UBC-Vancouver students, the Koerner Library Research Commons on campus offers help with converting your thesis to a PDF.Important: Instead of having only two types of thesis, one with published papers and one with no published material at all, the format now allows a continuum which embraces both these structures and all possible ones in between.Instead of having to choose, you are free to use as much or as little of your published material in a thesis as you like, and to arrange it in the way that is most suitable. Please see c IRcle: Uploading Electronic Creative Arts Theses for specific details and instructions. If you are uploading more than one multimedia file, please ensure that each file name is unique. When your thesis meets Graduate Studies' requirements, you will receive email notification that it has been added to the UBC Library's c IRcle Institutional Repository. If you want to request a delay in publication of your thesis, you must do this before you submit electronically.
